ESSENTIAL OILS

Take a deeper look into using plant medicines to support mental health and general well-being.

In the last 5 to 8 years there have been a resurgence towards more natural and holistic wellness methods. Essential oils are one of these natural alternatives that are widely adopted. Essential oils can have stimulating or sedating effects on our emotional, physical and spiritual body.

Research has shown significant therapeutic benefits just by inhaling essential oils. With more and more of us taking responsibility for our own health, we are fuelling a growing revolution for SELF-CARE. Aromapressure is a fast growing self-care modality as well.

Essential Oils Studies

A simple search on the internet has plenty of resources on recommended essential oils we should have at home. Here are some of my favourites educational sites that I learnt from:

1. Dr Axe Essential Oils Guide - his site is by far one of the best with lots of suggestions.

2. The Essential Oil Revolution - hands down one the best podcast on everything you need to know on using Essential oils. Host Samantha Lee Wright personal story from rag to riches is highly inspirational. She credit it all to her oil business.

3. Vibrant Blue oils - informative contents, you may even find a new twist in understanding our body anatomy in using essential oils.

4. Dr Mariza Snyder - especially for us women hormones issues. Learn how to manage our ups and downs with essential oils and more.

Often people will ask me -  Is it safe to use? Naturally,  it's nature gift in a bottle!. Learning Aromapressure is very useful to keep your health in optimum shape.

Although I do caution when diffusing at home with pets. There are some oils which are not too friendly to pets. Young Living wrote a guideline on this. Another caution is when blending for children - make sure they are super diluted - suggest 1% dilution.

Tisserand Institute a respected destination for anyone interested in studying more either for self-care or to be certified as Aromatherapist published a dilution chart which I refer to often.
